Leading engineering communities through strategic outreach, event programming, and hands-on organizing.
I was elected to lead the Florida Engineering Society, a 500+ member professional engineering organization, and have directed a 5-member executive board to restructure strategy and the chapter's external engagement model. Under my leadership, average event attendance has increased by 50% and company-sponsored programming has tripled through expanded outreach channels and formalized corporate partnership tiers.
I designed and launched the first FES Student Conference, coordinating 70 students from 7 Florida universities, securing external sponsorships, and building a cross-campus collaboration model now positioned for annual expansion. I have also built long-term partnerships with engineering firms and state-level stakeholders to establish sustainable funding streams and institutional credibility, and hosted a Leader-in-Residence Program featuring former Gainesville mayor Pegeen Hanrahan.
Diagnosed declining professional engagement within the chapter and redesigned the external outreach strategy, increasing program attendance by 200% and quadrupling major networking events. I created and scaled "Networking Nights," a four-part industry series that connected 120+ students with 40 companies, and standardized a playbook to ensure repeatability and sponsor retention across future iterations.
I negotiated and managed relationships with senior engineers and firm leaders, increasing sponsorship participation and long-term company retention for the chapter's programming.
During the 2023–24 school year, I served in the first-ever cohort of ISP Ambassadors, alongside about 10 other undergraduate students. In my role, I helped plan the general ISP schedule for the year, promoted the program at tabling events, and guided graduating students through the creation of their ISP ePortfolios.
Leveraging my background as a CS student, I led workshops teaching Wix and general web design principles to help students build and present their global learning journeys online. In total, I led almost 10 workshops, helping over 30 students graduate with the ISP program certificate and global medallion.
Led the sprint program within the Florida Running Club, growing participation by 400% through organized formal practices and structured training programming. Designed workouts, ran weekly practices, and built a competitive sprint community from the ground up within an existing recreational running club.
Founded and led the first streaming team for the Society of PC Building, establishing live production capabilities for club events and competitions. Expanded the organization's reach by supporting the creation of new chapters at UCF and Georgia Tech.
